thank you so much for your blog, as soon as i can get back to working I intend to purchase your course. you teach well and don’t drag on like some instructors.
I love your little messages. What really intrigues me is how you get the tone and sustain on the SG without using 500 watts of feedback. What do you use?

A VOX VT-50 – CLAUDE
Great way to start the morning! Cup of coffee & a nice little blues lesson! Thanks, bro!
Awesome! Can’t wait to get started..thanks!
hey this is a cool video, i actually learned something! Can you make some more metal associated videos?
Cool but obviously you are using more than your amps built in O/D. What pedals are you on?
NOPE… JUST THE AMP. ITS A VOX VT-50. I’M USE THE “UK MODERN” SETTING WITH THE GAIN 90% UP. – CLAUDE
Hey
How about some Freddie King “Hideaway” lessons – esp the last verse with all the double stops?
Some sublime and cheeky little licks. I have learnt more in the last 6 weeks of using your blogs than any other tuition out there. I will definitely purchase some of your products. Right on!
learning alot more from you than other courses, thanks.
Isn’t this E pentatonic minor? E (1), G (Minor third), A (4), B (5), D (Minor 7th).
E pentatonic major goes E (1), F# (2), G# (Major third), B (5), C# (Major 6th).
As far as i remember when you say just E, A, C or D# it’s always major. If you are speaking about minor you have to say it.
Good lesson by the way.
WELL THOSE ARE THE SCALES, BUT WHEN I SAY “E PENTATONIC” , I MEAN E MINOR PENTATONIC. ITS A MATTER
OF NAMING CONVENTION I SUPPOSE…BUT THE MINOR PENTATONIC IS THE MORE RUDIMENTARY SCALE IN
MY OPINION SO UNLESS I SAY “MAJOR PENTATONIC”, I DO MEAN MINOR. – CLAUDE
All I know,,,,,is,,,it sure sounds great….
Is Claude related to Clint Howard? I see a big resemblance
NOT THAT I WAS AWARE OF WOW YOURE RIGHT…COOL! – CLAUDE
Hi Claude,
Would be great to see your right hand picking also with left hand together shown on the video too on all times.
Will a tube screamer produce the same kind of sound you get on this lesson?
DEPENDS ON THE AMP TONE BUT GENERALLY NOT ENOUGH GAIN – CLAUDE
Great videos, only maybe shoot down on the neck when your show the fingering, the straight on shot sometimes blocks the finger positions, above shooting down will give a better view. Thanks.
Anyone that’s a Kangen user is alright in my book. I too partake in the daily 9.5. Impressive Claude, and thanks for your time and efforts…
HAHA – GREAT! A LIFE CHANGER! – CLAUDE
