Interesting how this song was considered “Heavy Metal” back in 1983. I guess Metal has gotten a lot heavier in 27 years!

    Dio’s voice has always been a pure pleasure to hear. He could even have sang old Jazz/Pop standards and not have been out of place alongside Sinatra. He had a beautiful, full-sounding, rich tone, and his lyrical themes ran the gambut from Romantic/Symbolist imagery to championing the plight of the underdog. Always relevant; always vital.
